How To Be Beautiful

1. Smile often. You never know who may fall in love with it.

2. Recognize the beauty around you. Be grateful for the sun, the moon, a childs laughter, the pretty flowers, etc... the list could go on forever.

3. Experience beauty. Take a walk in nature, soak up the sun, dance in the rain, decorate your home, write a love letter, etc... do things that make you happy inside.

4. Acknoledge your beauty; on the inside and outside. Make a list of all the talents and little habits that you love about yourself; remind yourself of them daily. Look in the mirror, smile, and say "you're gorgeous" every morning.

5. Let go of judgement from yourself and others.

Get a very detailed and accurate Tarot reading for only $5

I just opened a new gig on Fiverr to give people with certain questions (either about love, career, school, family, personality, your life path, how your year will be) a tarot reading to help them answer life's biggest and/or smallest questions. Feel free to check it out: http://fiverr.com/ladyjazmin/give-you-a-tarot-card-reading

My background: I learned how to do tarot spreads ever since I was 10 year old. And I have been doing it actively ever since (I'm 24 now so that adds up to 14 years of experience). I've done many readings locally including my friends and family. I even do my own spreads just about everyday. Feel free to give it a try and if you have any questions or suggestions don't be afraid to share.

My Top 4 Playful Pranks To Pull On A Friend (or Frenemy)

I normally don't really pull of pranks on my family or friends. I may joke around a lot with people; but never really pull pranks. When I was a kid though, if I didn't exactly like someone or if I had a friend that really pissed me off I would just pull a prank on them for vengeance. Lately I have been feeling very childish ( in a good way I think); so now when I get aggravated with  someone I plan to pull a small prank. It may not be fun for everyone, but it's fun for me.

Well, here is a list of some of my favorite pranks that I have experienced for myself:

1. Put Thousands of Stickers Everywhere In Their House, Car, or Bedroom: I did this to my friend about 3 weeks ago and he is still finding my Hello Kitty stickers in random places.

2. Put Baby Powder or Flour in Their Hair Dryer: Okay, now this is a very common one, but it still gets most people and is really hilarious.

3.Mess with your friend's computer by using the Print Screen button to copy the desktop and save the picture. Then set the picture as a desktop background. Hide all the shortcut or program icons and watch as your friend is trying to click on them and wonder why they can't open any windows: I never done this one before, but instead I had a friend do it to me. I literally spent almost a full hour trying to figure out what the hell was wrong with my computer.

4.
Put powdered koolaid in their showerhead and then wait for them to be drenched with red/blue/ or whatever color you choose koolaid. It's fucking hilarious when your friend is screaming out of tje shower and wondering what the hell just came out of their plumbing system. If you know someone that likes watching horror movies, I suggest using red koolaid.

Dara's Life Lesson #1: Try To Have Hope, Even In Your Most Darkest Days

"To live without Hope is to Cease to live." ~ Fyodor Dostoevsky

Believe it or not, there are many people who say having hope is a weakness; that it is an illusion that plays with our hearts and minds. Even many wise philosophers say that hope is nothing but a crutch to the weak-minded (ex: Aristotle,Robert Green Ingersoll, Friedrich Nietzsche, etc.) Not to say that  I am even close to being as wise and knowledgeable as those famous men, but I believe living in that frame of mind they are wrong in this area. I have read and personally heard a many amazing true stories of people who were able to escape many horrific obstacles and one of their basic principles that they said helped was having hope above all.

Of course, those people who overcame their dark difficulties didn't entirely depend on hope; rather, it was a seed for that to gave birth to a strong and courageous spirit. In some sense those wise philosophers were right; having hope is just not enough. But, it can be the kindle that starts the fire. When we learn to have hope in ourselves and even in others, the walls of our many imprisonments burn down.

We will have many bad times in our lives. Just remember the reason we have them is not so we can be driven down but to rise gloriously like a phoenix in it's ashes. I truly believe that the universe sends us these trials for us to learn and become stronger from them. I can remember most of my dark times from my childhood; and now that I look back I know that they were there for me to learn to become a better person. And I am not going to lie; one of the main reasons I was able to survive such trialing times was being able to have hope along the way. The hope that I could live a better life full of happiness and love.

They say it is darkest before the dawn. Just because we fail and fall doesn't mean that everything we do is hopeless. It just either means that we need to try harder or that we simply are choosing the wrong path for ourselves. These mountains we must climb exist to challenge us; to become stronger, wiser, and overall better people. However, it's up to us to choose to have hope in our hearts, to learn from these lessons, and be able to grow from them.

I like to think of it like a football game. We lose some and we win some. However, the players will never be able to show their true strength and abilities if there was no opposing team to challenge them. Or sometimes I think of life challenges like a famous fairy tale. There would be no hero if there was no monster to slay.

So even when we have our dark days, have hope in yourself, and belief that everything will turn out for the better. You'll be surprised by the results once you start seeing your life this way. You may even begin to notice conquering your past battles by believing in the idea of hope. As the great Martin Luther King Jr. said, "We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope".

Dara's List of Random Things To Do When You Are Totally Bored

I always hate those moments, whether I'm alone or with friends, where I have no clue what to do. There is no work to do, no errands, no chores; just me and an empty space of time.

I like to jot down whatever random activities come into my head. Now doing that over the course of a couple years I have been able to make a list of totally random and awesome things to do when I'm totally bored that I will gladly share with you.

My Dara-licious List of Random Awesome Things To Do:

Create a murder mystery.

Write a haiku about a zombie unicorn.

Paint on someone's face.

Make bunny ears and wear them at random times just because you feel like it.

Make ninja star cookies and chuck them at people.

Give out postcards with encoded messages for others to solve.

Pretend your Godzilla and destroy something. (Make sure it's not something illegal.)

Make up secret nicknames for all your friends and family.

Create a holiday, mark it on your calendar, and celebrate.

Sneak into someone's pool and go skinny-dipping.

Record a friend dancing to a funny song and post it on YouTube without telling them.

So far, these are just a few things I have to share. And don't worry I have experienced every single one of them. And they are sure to give you something to do. With some of them, just make sure you can get away with it. Last thing you want to do is get caught in some stranger's pool in your b-day suit. Feel free to share some of your own experiences.

It's Up To You

Many dreams we may have.
But which one is you?
What is it that you love?
What is your passion?
The problem lies that we fear the wrong outcome.
We fear mistakes.
How do we overcome these fears?

Remember, the future is not written in stone;
that much I know.
It is up to us to mold our destiny.
It is up to us to create our world.
Now, where will you begin?
~Dara J. Kile

Doing chores the fun way

I have such a bad habit of cleaning my house. It's not as bad as I see some people live; at least I don't have roaches eating the mold off the chicken sandwich on the coffee table. However, I will find almost any excuse in the world to avoid washing the dishes. Of course, my new years revolution for the year is to stop procrastinating with my chores. For someone with an artistic temper like me, that's not easy.

I now have a list of tricks to keep me doing chores around the home. So. Like most of my work, I try to make it fun! Everything seems 10x more awesome when it's fun and not dull.

There's no need to worry anymore if you have the same bad habit as me. My tricks shall work and make you more motivated to kill the dust bunnies from under your couch. If they don't, you can make your own lazy-ass cleaning tricks. An if you do, please share because I would like to know in case I get bored with mine.

Here is my list of making chores more fun:

• Wear an outfit that makes you feel special
Wether it's an old prom dress, your tuxedo from your brother's wedding or just you rockin' your birthday suit, where an outfit that makes you feel like your a million dollars. Why you may ask? Most people when they clean where some dingy, nasty looking clothes; that of course, they wouldn't wear if seen in public. And with those nasty looking clothes, you will associate wearing them as non-awesome dirty work. Looking awesome or wearing a ridiculous outfit that makes you laugh while performing your house-hold chores, will defently put you in a natural good mood. I sometimes like to clean in my tinkerbell costume and pretend I'm using pixie dust to clean everything.

• Jam out to music. Wether your a hardcore rocker, a country gal, or into opera; listening to your favorite music makes chores seem to go by faster. You can also dance along with it and pretend your putting on a glamorous show. Or you can pretend people aren't watching; if that makes you cut loose easier. I'm such a huge Disney fan that I like to listen to my favorite Disney film songs. I will even pretend I'm a princess (like Cinderella of course) and clean the house prancing around, humming, and singing to inanimate objects.

• Make it an adventure! If you are like me, you would love cartoons; especially Adventure Time. This may sound childish, but I like to play pretend sometimes when I do chores or other stuff I hate. Many times to just simply motivate myself, I imagine that I have to defeat all the nasty dirt monsters in my house or that I have to fight evil demon spirits. Once you make something seem crazy it makes it fun. This might also work on kids if you have them.

These are just a couple of tips I have. If you have more, feel free to share! I would love to hear about your mathematical tips!
